I'm a half Japanese and half Italian Cinematographer from Brazil.
I believe cinematography is a type of language that you slowly build through life experiences and background. When you start it's so hard to communicate your feelings in a way people understand, you even feel tempted to copy what has already been done by others. But once you start building a vocabulary and your speech gets clearer, you begin forming visual sentences, poems, essays. I intend to expand and polish my cinematography vocabulary so I can make it diverse and embracing to communicate a message comprehensible and fluent to anyone.
